For every single tyre we retread, we save 15 gallons of oil compared to producing a new tyre which is great news for the environment (these days the rubber used in tyres is synthetic and comes from oil not rubber trees).
Vehicle retreads cost significantly less than a new tyre and that retreading allows maximum value to be obtained from the tyre casing. Also retreaded tyres reduce the number of tyres going to landfill and a reduction in production of new tyres, which is good for the environment.
